Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative, organized, and hands-on Videographer/Marketing Assistant to support our growing outdoor living company. You will play a key role in capturing and promoting our high-end deck, patio, and outdoor living space projects through compelling visual content and targeted marketing initiatives. This role blends on-site video production with behind-the-scenes marketing support, helping to elevate our brand and drive leads.
Key Responsibilities:
Videography & Photography (60%)
- Capture professional-quality video and photo content of project sites (before, during, and after completion).
- Conduct customer testimonials and team interviews for social media and web content.
- Edit video content for reels, project showcases, YouTube, and paid ads.
- Organize and maintain a library of digital content for easy access.
- Ensure brand consistency across all visual media.
Marketing Support (40%)
- Assist in planning and scheduling social media content (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube).
- Write captions, blog posts, and short-form content that highlight our value and process.
- Help design basic marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, presentations).
- Support email marketing campaigns, website updates, and ad tracking.
- Monitor engagement and provide performance reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
- Strong eye for visual storytelling and brand consistency.
- Comfortable using DSLR or mirrorless cameras, gimbals, drones, and mobile devices.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and engagement best practices.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and occasionally in outdoor job site environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in marketing, media, communications, or a related field.
- Experience working in construction, architecture, real estate, or a visual/creative industry.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator).
Working Conditions:
- Combination of field and office/remote work.
- Occasional early mornings or late afternoons for optimal filming conditions.
- Must have reliable transportation to job sites.
