Summary of Position:
The Videographer will work closely with the Creative Pastor and Creative Team to capture, edit, and produce compelling video content that brings the story of Faith Family Church to life. From weekly recap videos and service support content to major seasonal campaigns like Easter and Christmas, this role is instrumental in delivering high-quality visual content that reflects the heart and excellence of FFC. The Videographer will also lead and develop the videography Dream Team and manage key platforms such as the FFC website, YouTube, and Subsplash.

Duties and Responsibilities
Videography
- Capture high-quality footage during worship services, events, and special moments at FFC.
- Produce weekly recap videos with sermon clips and service highlights.
- Record and edit FFC News (both online and in-person versions).
- Film and support online host moments and special video segments.
- Coordinate video shoots for sermon series, testimonies, campaigns, and special events.
Video Production & Editing
- Edit weekly online experiences and post them to YouTube and Subsplash by 7PM on Sundays.
- Produce promotional videos for churchwide events (minimum 8 yearly).
- Create content for seasonal events (Christmas, Easter, Special Offerings).
- Produce monthly video projects such as baptisms, testimony videos, church life content, and worship team recordings.
- Lead and develop the videography Dream Team, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and care.
- Maintain updated Dream Team schedules, ensuring team members are serving regularly.
- Provide weekly communication and oversight to team leads.
- Create fellowship and training opportunities for the team at least quarterly.
- Assist with care and connection efforts for team members under your oversight, including crisis care.
Graphics (as needed)
- Support the creation and editing of graphics that accompany video content.
- Assist with visual branding for sermon videos, event promotion, and series development.
Creative Content Collaboration
- Participate in weekly creative meetings and strategy planning (Tuesdays).
- Assist with story development and video concepts in collaboration with the Creative and Storytelling Teams.
- Coordinate shoot schedules for news, host moments, and special videos throughout the week (typically Tuesday–Thursday).
- Support planning and execution of creative elements during Sunday services and seasonal campaigns.
Sunday Morning & Saturday PM / Service Operations
- Provide visionary leadership to the Media Team (video, photo, and stream).
- Ensure team members are scheduled and positioned to capture content for both services.
- Lead video team operations for weekend services and help capture content that can be used for future storytelling and social posts.
Care & Connection
Care
- Spend 2–4 hours each week intentionally caring for and connecting with media team members through calls, texts, or meetings.
- Respond to any crisis care situations impacting team members (funerals, hospitalizations, personal emergencies).
Small Groups
- Lead a small group each semester (3 times yearly).
- Help recruit and launch 5 small groups in both Spring and Fall semesters.
Dream Team
- Assist new Dream Team members in finding their place within the media team.
- Ensure every team under your oversight hosts at least 2 fellowships and 2 trainings per year.
- Confirm every team is led by an approved leader and follows communication and scheduling expectations.
- Communicate with team leads weekly and oversee that leaders are communicating with their teams.
Keys to Success
Knowledge
- Working knowledge of relevant software and systems: Planning Center, Monday.com, Google Suite, Subsplash, YouTube Studio, Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent), Mailchimp, Clearstream, Expensify, and Bamboo HR.
