JOB PURPOSE

 

The Videographer/Editor will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for visual composition, storytelling abilities, and proficiency in video editing software. This role requires both technical expertise in videography and creativity in video editing to deliver compelling content that meets our clients' needs and aligns with our brand. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Plan, shoot, and edit videos for a variety of purposes, including marketing campaigns, product demonstrations, tutorials, interviews, events, and more. 
    • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and storyboard projects. 
    • Set up and operate video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio devices, to capture high-quality footage. 
    • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning optimally. 
    • Edit raw footage into polished videos that align with project goals, brand guidelines, and audience preferences. 
    • Enhance video and audio quality using editing software and techniques such as color correction, sound mixing, and visual effects. 
    • Incorporate graphics, animations, and other visual elements to enhance the storytelling and engagement of videos. 
    • Optimize videos for various platforms and formats, including web, social media, and mobile devices. 
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines. 
    • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations. 
    • Coordinate logistics for video shoots, including scheduling, location scouting, talent casting, and equipment rentals. 
    • All Other Duties assigned. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. 
  • Solid understanding of cinematography principles, including composition, lighting, and camera movement. 
  • Excellent storytelling and narrative skills, with the ability to craft compelling video content. 
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of quality while working under tight deadlines. 
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in film production, digital media, or a related field. 
      

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

The job is performed indoors in a traditional, temperature-controlled office setting and in a manufacturing facility. Time will be divided between sitting at a desk (while using a computer or other device) and visiting all JJE owned facilities. 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

This position requires the worker to be constantly standing, walking, carrying, twisting, bending, seeing, stooping, balancing, hearing, as well as handling paperwork and using basic hand tools. Worker will regularly be lifting objects weighing up to 75 lbs. Cleaning material and chemicals used regularly.
