Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Production and Planning:
- Collaborate with the production team to conceptualize and plan video projects.
- Scout locations and prepare equipment for on-site shoots.
- Develop shot lists and storyboards to guide filming.
Videography:
- Travel to various locations to film on-site footage for OMG projects.
- Operate cameras, drones, and audio equipment to capture high-quality visuals and sound.
- Adapt filming techniques to diverse environments and dynamic situations.
Post-Production:
- Edit raw footage into polished, professional videos using industry-standard software.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, sound design, and color grading to enhance video quality.
- Maintain OMG’s branding standards across all video content.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with content creators, journalists, and the media production team to align video content with organizational goals.
- Provide creative input to enhance storytelling techniques and visual impact.
- Manage deadlines and communicate progress effectively to stakeholders.
Equipment Maintenance and Innovation:
- Ensure all video and audio equipment is properly maintained and ready for use.
- Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new technologies or techniques into workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of professional experience in video production and editing.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
- Expertise in operating professional-grade cameras, drones, and audio recording equipment.
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and color grading principles.
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
