Description

Primary Purpose

The Videographer/Editor will be responsible for creating dynamic, visually engaging video content that supports our brand, marketing campaigns, and internal initiatives. This role requires a creative storyteller with technical expertise in both videography and video editing, from pre-production planning through to post-production polish. The Videographer/Editor will work closely with the marketing team to produce videos that engage audiences across social media, website, and promotional channels, ensuring alignment with our brand identity and messaging.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Videography and Production:

  • Plan, film, and direct high-quality video content, including promotional videos, product demos, interviews, event coverage, and social media content.
  • Set up and operate cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and other production gear to achieve the best visuals and sound quality.
  • Manage video shoots from start to finish, coordinating with talent, setting up scenes, and troubleshooting technical issues on set.

Video Editing and Post-Production:

  • Edit raw footage into polished videos, adding visual effects, transitions, titles, and sound as needed to enhance storytelling.
  • Sync and adjust audio tracks, balance color, and refine the video to ensure consistency in quality and brand aesthetics.
  • Select music, voiceovers, and sound effects, ensuring all media is licensed and on-brand.

Content Strategy and Storytelling:

  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to understand project goals and translate them into visual storytelling that resonates with target audiences.
  • Assist in conceptualizing video ideas that support marketing objectives, helping to develop scripts, storyboards, and production plans.
  • Stay informed of trends in video production, social media, and digital content to incorporate new techniques and formats that capture viewer attention.

File Management and Quality Control:

  • Organize and archive video footage, project files, and media assets for easy retrieval and future use.
  • Ensure that all videos meet high-quality standards for sound, visual clarity, and overall production value.
  • Review final edits with stakeholders, incorporating feedback and fine-tuning as needed for final approval.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the products Country Supplier sells.
  • Perform daily cleaning โ€“ such as, but not limited to, vacuuming, replacing full trashes with new trash bags, and sweeping.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in videography and video editing, with a portfolio showcasing a variety of content types (e.g., commercial, social media, corporate) preferred.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, and familiarity with Adobe After Effects is a plus.
  • Skilled in operating professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Strong understanding of video production principles, including composition, framing, lighting, and sound.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with strong storytelling abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of social media video formats and trends is a plus.
