Microtech Knives is seeking a talented Videographer & Video Editor who is passionate about storytelling through video. This is a hands-on role responsible for the entire video lifecycle—from concept development and shooting to advanced post-production editing. You'll produce polished, on-brand content that showcases our products, our people, and our purpose.
Lead the creation of video content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, internal platforms, and marketing campaigns—from planning and shooting to final edit.
Edit and refine video footage with expert-level post-production techniques including color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, and effects.
Develop brand-aligned video stories such as product showcases, factory walkthroughs, employee spotlights, customer testimonials, and campaign trailers.
Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and creative team to ideate and storyboard video content that supports product launches, events, and brand storytelling.
Maintain a well-organized digital asset library including video files, B-roll, music, overlays, and graphics.
Research and implement new trends, editing techniques, and social platform requirements to enhance engagement and retention.
Ensure all content upholds Microtech’s brand standards, voice, and visual identity.
Required:
3+ years of professional experience in video production and editing.
Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro and proficiency with After Effects, Photoshop, and other tools in the Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong editing portfolio that showcases polished transitions, pacing, audio syncing, and visual storytelling.
In-depth knowledge of DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting rigs, and audio equipment.
Experience creating content for social media platforms, including knowledge of specs, aspect ratios, and algorithm-friendly edits.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Preferred:
Familiarity with manufacturing, EDC, firearms, or outdoor/lifestyle brands.
Photography and graphic design experience.
Ability to create light motion graphics and animation for intros, transitions, and callouts.
