Videographer

Position: Videographer

Reporting to the Design and Video Manager, this position plays an instrumental role in influencing how customers and the public perceive MARSHALLTOWN.  You will work in a fast paced, fun rewarding environment with people who will appreciate your contribution.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Utilize talent to create videos for customers including large retail, TV shows, schools and trade shows
• Perform professional photography and videography of new items as well as photography and videography for promotional use
• Proficient in video editing, production and audio
• Hands-on coordination of all facets of video production, planning, pre-production, production and post -production
• Work on cross functional teams with engineering, marketing and purchasing to design and develop new product videos
• Coordinates, manages and ensures timely delivery of all video requests
• Add creative insight to company website, social media and other online medium
• Provide support and other marketing duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 4 years of post-high school education in videography or digital media or related creative program, or a combination post high school education and relevant work experience
• 3 plus years' experience in a video related field
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Strong working knowledge of Macintosh, Adobe programs not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects and PC office programs not limited to, Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Other pre and postproduction software knowledge a plus
• Must be strong with motion graphic programs
• Must possess an eye for detail in all work
• Must be able to travel overnight occasionally
• Demonstrated ability to perform well and remain organized under tight deadlines
• Social media marketing experience a plus
• Must be creative with the ability to work within provided guidelines
