SUMMARY: The UAV Sales Specialist is primarily responsible for selling and following up with training and supporting UAV solutions. This role combines technical expertise with a proactive sales approach to ensure customer success and satisfaction. The specialist reports directly to the UAV Sales Manager and provides regular updates on training, support, and sales activities. The position is based in the greater Phoenix area and requires travel across the AllTerra Central sales territory. Ā 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the UAV market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to drive revenue growth.
  • Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations, showcasing UAV technology to prospective clients.
  • Work closely with the UAV Sales Manager to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Track and achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals.

Training and Support Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive training for new and existing customers on UAV operations and software.
  • Deliver remote and on-site support for clients, including live troubleshooting.
  • Maintain documentation for all training sessions and support interactions.
  • Address customer support requests promptly, escalating issues to vendor support when necessary.

Maintenance and Reporting:

  • Oversee and document the maintenance of internal and external UAVs.
  • Communicate inventory and maintenance updates to the UAV Sales Manager.
  • Manage correspondence with vendor support teams for technical issues.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives, including product demonstrations.




Requirements

Ā 
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a current FAA Part 107 License
  • Experience with drones a must
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to speak in a professional manner
  • Must have vehicle capable of carrying equipment across AllTerra sales territory
  • Willing to travel (up to 50%)
  • Surveying experience a plus
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Ability to accomplish planned weekly and monthly schedules

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with UAV software a plus
  • Previous sales experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Strong attention to detail and adaptability to handle several tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet and SharePoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills as well as verbal and written communication skills.Ā 
  • Must be available to travel to customer and/or company locations as required.
  • Flexibility to work past normal business hours as necessary.
