SUMMARY:
This position supports San Francisco’s provision of Urgent Accommodation Vouchers for survivors of domestic violence and intimate partner violence (adults and adults with children), with a focus on generating client referrals and securing and maintaining relationships with hotels that will adhere to program criteria and allow hotel stays (up to 14-days) for the program’s priority population. The position will also interact with clients and community-based partners and will assist with the booking of the hotel stay.

This is a part-time, non-exempt position working 16 hours per week.
DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM SERVICES:
The Urgent Accommodation Voucher Program for Domestic Violence Survivors (UAV-DV) is designed to strengthen San Francisco’s safety net for domestic and intimate partner violence survivors by introducing a new, low-barrier model that facilitates quick short-term access to a safe place to stay for survivors without accommodation who are in imminent danger. The program includes emergency hotel placement operations and supportive services with a goal of stabilizing and empowering survivors/clients and transitioning them into longer-term shelter or housing within 14 days. Supportive services include but are not limited to linkages to existing programs such as domestic violence shelters in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area, harm reduction services, public program benefits, health services, and behavioral health services.
SALARY AND BENEFITS OVERVIEW:
The Part Time UAV Program Coordinator wage is $29.00 per hour. Benefits include pro-rated vacation and sick hours, and SF healthcare.
