Responsibilities:
Analyze and verify Digital System Models and Logistics Product Data to support Digital Thread and Digital Enterprise integration.
Evaluate Engineering Change Proposals, Modification Work Orders, and Requests for Waiver/Deviation for logistics and lifecycle impact.
Support planning and acquisition of Integrated Product Support (IPS) technical data; assess data for provisioning and sustainment accuracy.
Develop, revise, and convert technical documentation into XML using tools like Arbortext; ensure quality publication formats and graphic consistency.
Support validation and verification of technical publications, including responses to DA Form 2028 and publication change management.
Ensure accuracy in logistics data elements such as NSN assignment, SMR coding, and provisioning records.
Participate in the development, testing, and sustainment of Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS).
Assist with courseware development for UAS operator and maintainer training, including Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) and immersive environments.
Assess Warfighter training support products and recommend improvements to increase effectiveness across the UAS portfolio.
Contribute to UAS system design and sustainment using a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA).
Provide engineering expertise in cybersecurity, mission systems, and aircraft survivability.
Analyze system configurations and lifecycle documentation, including LCSP, CARD, and related sustainment plans.
Assist with implementation of engineering change initiatives and coordination of IT/OT systems to ensure operational continuity.
Education:
Bachelorβs Degree in Engineering or a related scientific field from an accredited institution.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of related job experience, gained after receiving the qualifying degree.
Must be capable of working independently under guidance from senior technical staff.
Engineers must hold a degree from an accredited engineering program; Scientists must hold a science degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience with UAS platforms, digital systems integration, and DoD sustainment documentation is highly valued.
