Wilson & Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced UAS Manager to lead survey, photogrammetry, lidar, and Advanced Air Mobility projects. The ideal candidate will oversee operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and perform and manage cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and efficient data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage UAS operations for survey, photogrammetry, lidar.
  • Lead Advanced Air Mobility and Unmanned Traffic Management pursuits and projects.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate mission planning, data acquisition, and post-processing workflows.
  • Collaborate with practice leads, project managers, clients, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership in selecting and maintaining UAS platforms and sensors.
  • Train and mentor UAS operators and support staff.
  • Ensure safety, quality control, and risk management during UAS missions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geomatics, Aviation, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in UAS operations and management.
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required.
  • Proficiency in photogrammetric and lidar processing software preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of land surveys, CAD/GIS applications and data management.
  • Experience in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and related technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of airport planning, airspace management and regulations.
  • Experience with autonomous flight planning software.
  • Familiarity with safety management systems.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resource allocation.

Annual Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 (Depending on Experience)
