The Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC), a national non-profit organization founded in 1994 by Harvard Business School Professor Michael Porter, drives inclusive economic prosperity in U.S. under-resourced communities through innovative research and programs to create jobs, income, and wealth for local residents. Program Overview
Inner City Capital Connections (ICCC) is a program offered by ICIC, dedicated to providing the leaders of small businesses in under-resourced communities with education and coaching to help them cultivate long-term sustainable growth. This free, 40-hour program is designed for busy executives of all expertise levels, fostering their ability to advance their businesses and make a positive impact in the communities they serve.
Position Summary
ICCC is launching their annual Impact Survey to assess the impact of the ICCC program on their business. The Telephone Surveyor will be responsible for calling alumni of ICIC programs to complete the survey either over the phone or at their earliest convenience.
This is a temporary remote position, lasting approximately six to eight weeks, reporting to the ICCC Data Lead.
Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifications
Education: An Associate’s degree is desired, but a High School Diploma and related work experience may be substituted.
Work Experience: Must have previous experience in cold calling or telephone outreach to large call lists. Experience in sales, customer service, telemarketing, or in call centers is preferred.
Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills preferred.
