Surveyor

Skillforce is currently hiring a detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role focuses on underground surveying and layout for mechanical construction projects. While mechanical experience is not required, candidates should have a strong background in reading blueprints, setting control points, uploading drawings, and establishing layout controls. Pay for this role is up to $35/hr depending upon experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and analyze construction drawings and blueprints.
• Set control points and benchmarks for underground layout.
• Utilize surveying equipment to gather accurate measurements.
• Upload and manage survey data using relevant software.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with design specifications.

Qualifications:

• Experience in construction surveying or a related field.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans.
• Familiarity with surveying equipment and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
