Surveyor – Land Development | Cromwell

The Company

Our client is a highly respected land development consultancy, well-established across the South Island and known for delivering quality, innovative projects. With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for excellence, they are now seeking a talented Surveyor to join their Cromwell-based team.

The Role

As a Surveyor, you will be involved in a wide range of land development projects, from small-scale subdivisions through to larger developments. You’ll work closely with planners, engineers, and clients to deliver accurate and efficient survey outcomes that contribute to successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fieldwork and office-based surveying across land development projects
• Subdivision and cadastral surveys, topographic surveys, and set-out
• Preparation and lodgement of survey datasets in Land online
• Collaboration with project teams and clients to ensure project success
• Ensuring quality standards and compliance with relevant legislation

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Relevant surveying qualification (Diploma or Degree)
• Experience in land development surveying - 3 years + minimum
• Proficiency (or familiarity) with software such as 12d, Civil 3D, and Landonline – ideal but not essential
• Strong technical and communication skills
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach
