Summer Camp Photographer

JOB SUMMARY:

The Summer Camp Photographer at Miami Country Day School Inc is responsible for capturing memorable moments and activities of campers aged 3-12, ensuring high-quality images that reflect the vibrant and engaging camp environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS:

• Photograph daily camp activities, events, and special moments.
• Work closely with camp staff to organize and plan photography sessions.
• Edit and manage digital files for quality and consistency.
• Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to provide images for promotional materials.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of campers during photography sessions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with kids ages 3-12
• Previous experience in photography, preferably in a camp or educational setting
• Proficiency in using digital cameras and photo editing software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
