Purpose within the Organization:
Produce highlight videos of the various Student Engagement events as well as working alongside student leaders to create marketing videos to advertise these events.
Responsibilities Related to Purpose:
- Provide all video filming and video editing for the Student Engagement Department.
- Attend and film video footage for Student Engagement events using professional video equipment (provided).
- Capture video footage and edit using software programs: Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere.
- Create marketing promo videos using software programs: Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere.
- Reach out to other students interested in film and photography projects.
- Upload videos to shared server/file location where marketing staff have access to them.
- Meet regularly with Marketing/Media Coordinator and student leaders to receive feedback or changes, review upcoming events, assignments, and communication strategies.
- Occasionally attend client meetings with the Coordinator.
- Maintain a strict schedule for completed tasks as requested by clients.
Qualifications:
- Must have a high level of technical skill in specified field.
- Experience in filming video and photography using professional equipment.
- Proficient in photo/video editing software programs including: Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects) and/or Final Cut Pro.
- Able to take and receive direction from Student Engagement staff for vision in creating videos.
- Able to work well with others in achieving the common goal of highlighting and marketing Student Engagement events.
- Creative ability to capture video footage and edit to make a final product.
- Provide a video portfolio via YouTube or Vimeo links.

Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
