The Olympic Club, a private member athletic and country club in San Francisco, seeks a part-time Squash Professional for our downtown City Clubhouse. At The Olympic Club, our members enjoy 2 campuses, 19 sports, world-renowned golf courses, exceptional social and athletic programs as well as 18 hotel rooms and 5 Food & Beverage outlets. Our City Clubhouse is located one block from Union Square and within easy walking distance of the Powell Street BART station. Our Lakeside Clubhouse sits next to the ocean on the border of San Francisco and Daly City.

The Olympic Club offers employees free golf on Mondays at our Lakeside campus and a variety of sports and social events for employees throughout the year as well as lunch and dinner provided every day.

Position Overview:

Oversee all aspects of the Olympic Club’s Squash Program including tournaments, leagues, clinics lessons and court reservations for adults and Junior Members

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Director of Squash in implementation of the squash budget
  • Schedule and run tournaments and clinics
  • Contribute photos and stories to Olympian Magazine when needed
  • Coach juniors members
  • Update record boards, trophies and plaques in the squash areas
  • Keep website information up to date
  • Lessons and other duties as assigned by supervisor


Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

  • Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalency in Fitness Related Field
  • Minimum Experience required: 5 years experience as a Squash Pro
  • Licenses or Certificates Required: CPR, AED and First Aid 
  • Skills Required: Minimum three years experience as a Squash Professional including teaching Squash , theory, rules, strategy and body mechanics of the sport. Solid business writing skills.
