We are looking for an experienced renewable energy Solar Project Manager to oversee all aspects of a project including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling processes with the goal of completing all projects ahead of schedule and within budget, by utilizing the expertise of all members of the team to the fullest.
The Project Manager’s essential function is to manage the daily details of the project, including purchases, subcontracting, changes, and coordination of activities from early planning stages until completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for more than one project at a time.
-Responsible for managing key deliverables from design, procurement, construction, budget, and schedule goals of assigned projects, from project inception through project closeout.
-Coordinate resource availability and operational needs to ensure achievement of established project goals.
-Research supplies and vendors from whom to purchase major materials at the most cost-effective price.
-Schedule equipment and material deliveries and adjust as necessary due to changes.
-Visit the jobsites during planning and construction, interface with the Foreman, crew & client for smooth execution of the project.
-Manage schedule and cost lifecycle of assigned project through project closeout.
-Serve as the primary corporate representative to the customer, permitting agencies and other project personnel.
-Responsible for complying with and monitoring company safety and quality goals on assigned projects.
-Coordinate work between Project Designer, Engineer, and Permitting Expeditor in assembling the submission package for building permits.
-Schedule/coordinate subcontractors as necessary and manage all invoicing and paperwork.
-Formally coordinate, review, and approve invoices for all work in progress.
