Solar Install Technician

Position Summary

• The entry level Solar Install Technician will assist with onsite solar installation jobs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• assists leads, onsite, with solar installation jobs
• optimizes solar panels
• moves materials up to roof/work area
• maintains jobsite cleanliness and order
• assists with attic work
• assists with troubleshooting, as needed
• practices safety standards  

Requirements and Qualifications

• • Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving history.
• Must have professional experience working outdoors and at heights.
• Must be able to carry 40 pounds up a ladder.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather.
• Must be a team player.
• Must enjoy interacting with homeowners.
• Foster a positive and safe working environment through behavior and attitude.
• Must be willing to get OSHA certified (paid for by the company).
• Ability to diagnose and repair deficiencies in solar products while in the field.
