What You’ll Do as a Solar Electrical Forman

S.O.T.A Electrical Services LLC is expanding our residential solar division and seeking a Solar Electrician Foreman with strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to clean, safe, audit‑ready installations. We work with top manufacturers including Enphase, SolarEdge, Tesla, Qcells, and many others, and we expect every project to meet the highest standards of workmanship and documentation. You’ll play a key role in bringing cutting-edge solar energy solutions to life. Your responsibilities will include.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage residential solar installation crews on rooftop and ground‑mount projects.
• Perform and oversee all electrical work including wiring, conduit runs, inverter installation, battery hookups, and system commissioning.
• Install and configure systems from Enphase, SolarEdge, Tesla, Qcells, and other major manufacturers.
• Ensure all work meets NEC, local AHJ, and utility interconnection requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite at all times.
• Complete high‑quality photos and documentation that meet partner audit standards.
• Communicate clearly with project managers, homeowners, and team members.
• Train and mentor crew members on best practices, safety, and workmanship.
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure proper operation before job closeout.

Qualifications

• Licensed electrician (Journeyman or Master preferred) or equivalent field experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years of solar installation or electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential PV systems, rapid shutdown, grounding/bonding, and battery storage.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, one‑lines, and manufacturer specifications.
• Comfortable working on roofs, ladders, and in various weather conditions.
• Experience leading crews and managing jobsite workflow.
• High attention to detail, especially regarding photos, labeling, and audit compliance.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
