Solar Apprentice Electrician

We are seeking a motivated Solar Apprentice Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed electricians to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed electricians with the installation of solar PV systems, including wiring, mounting panels, and connecting electrical components.
  
• Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
  
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure safe work practices.
  
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of solar systems under supervision.
  
• Help troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in solar systems.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite and inventory of materials.
  
• Attend training sessions and safety meetings to advance skills and knowledge.
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
  
• Enrolled in or willing to enroll in an accredited electrical apprenticeship program.
  
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts and wiring.
  
• Strong desire to learn about solar energy systems and the electrical trade.
  
• Ability to work at heights and in various outdoor conditions.
  
• Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset.
  
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  

Preferred:

• Experience in construction, electrical work, or solar installations.
  
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools.
  
• OSHA certification or safety training.
