As a Photographer, you will provide an exceptional Guest experience by creating and selling photographic souvenirs that exceed standards of quality. Your interaction with Guests will enhance their experience posing for and buying cruise photos. You will help perform inventory management tasks and generating Portrait Studio bookings. You will be familiar with shooting photographs in various natural and studio light locations, observing service standards and location operating guidelines.

Applicants must:
- Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel
- Be committed to the position you are applying for at least 2-3 contracts before a transfer or promotion
- Be willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency duties and/or associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan
- Be willing and able to uphold the general safety management responsibilities specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control
- Be willing to follow and embrace United States Public Health requirements and guidelines as well as Environmentality requirements and Company practices
- Be comfortable living in a confined space with strict rules and regulations
- Adhere to a structured lifestyle, personally and professionally
Your Responsibilities:
- Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this)
- Complete a pre-employment medical
- Obtain a criminal background check
- Bring approved work shoes

- 1-year DSLR experience in a professional setting
- Able to push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds including up and down ladders.
- Comfortable working outdoors in inclement weather both in warm and cold climate, including our islands which include extensive outdoor work in humid climates
- Flexible to help with tasks that goes beyond the photographer role
- Comfortable working in a ever changing fast paced environment
- Ship experience preferred
- Provide an exceptional Guest experience by setting up, creating, producing, and selling photographic souvenirs that meet or exceed the company’s standards of quality.
- Expertise in photographic skill that build an engaging experience for our guests
- The ability to interact with Guests in a positive and helpful manner to enhance their experience in posing for and buying cruise photos.
- Take high quality photos in both indoor and outdoor settings with a variety of lighting settings.
- Focus on photography sales and conversion.
- Manage POS function with sales, return, guest service inquiries. Manage retail and supply inventory.
- Partner with other departments to utilize their space to create exceptional photos for our guests
- Transport studio equipment to and from different locations around the ship. Setup and break down portrait studios as directed and ensure compliance with safety standards
