Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced senior survey leader to oversee operations on civil and transportation projects. This role involves managing multiple field crews, ensuring project delivery standards, and fostering client relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of field teams and office support staff.
• Maintain quality assurance and control standards; manage project budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
• Collaborate with transportation departments and municipal agencies on roadway and utility corridor surveys.
• Contribute to regional business growth through proposal development and relationship management.
• Mentor team members through regular coaching sessions and performance evaluations.

Required Qualifications

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is mandatory.
• Over 12 years of survey experience, with at least five in supervisory roles.
• Strong background in DOT and municipal projects.
• Proficiency with Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Deep understanding of federal, state, and local survey regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in subsurface utility locating and designations.
• Knowledge of LiDAR, aerial mapping, or small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS).
• Bachelor’s degree in surveying, civil engineering technology, or related field.

Working Conditions

• Primarily office-based with periodic site visits; occasional travel required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed during field support.
