THE ROLE

SNHU Arena is seeking a Photographer/Videographer who will proactively engage with guests, employees, and performing acts (when permitted) to capture high-quality photo and video content for the venue. As SNHU Arena continues to grow and expand into additional lines of business beyond concerts — including special events, community programming, and private functions — this role will help showcase the full fan and guest experience across all events. This position reports directly to the Marketing Director

This is a part-time, event-based position scheduled based on the arena’s event calendar. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos of guests, employees, and performing artists (when permitted) during concerts and other arena events

  • Document the full fan experience from arrival through the event, highlighting moments throughout the entire guest journey

  • Take a combination of posed and candid content that reflects the energy and atmosphere of the venue

  • Capture photo/video content as directed by the venue team for operational, promotional, and marketing needs

  • Follow all venue and artist guidelines for photography/videography, as permissions vary by event and touring production

  • Capture content for special events taking place before, during, and after shows (fan experiences, employee events, new features, private functions, community events, etc.)

  • Assist the venue team in capturing non-show day content such as private events, photoshoots, and additional programming hosted at SNHU Arena

  • Be available on scheduled event days from the time parking opens through the headliner’s first few songs (times vary by event)

  • Photographers must capture a minimum of 100 photos per show

  • Videographers must capture enough content to produce at least a 1-minute recap video per event

  • Edit and submit all photo/video content to the Director of Marketing in a timely manner

  • Enter availability at least 3 weeks in advance through the ABIMM system and communicate with supervisor if availability changes

  • Ensure all hours worked are accurately recorded in the ABIMM system

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

There are no supervisory responsibilities in this role. 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE     

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional photography and/or videography experience

  • Experience capturing live events and concerts strongly preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Must provide your own professional camera equipment and editing software

  • Must have a telephoto lens with a minimum focal length of 200mm

  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to execute creative direction

  • Position requires frequent walking, stair climbing, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs, and occasional sitting

  • Must pass a required background check


 

COMPENSATION

Competitive hourly pay. 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Location: SNHU Arena- Manchester, NH 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time (6–10 hours).

  • Must be able to climb stairs and move throughout the arena.

  • Must be able to work in a loud, fast-paced event environment.

  • Must be able to respond quickly in a busy environment.
