Geospatial Analyst

Van Cleef Engineering is currently seeking a full-time Geospatial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Philipsburg, NJ. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 1-3  years of experience, but we are open to training the right candidate.

In addition to the short list of requirements below, please submit two or three mapping projects from your portfolio with resume that you feel highlights your cartographic and analytic skillset.

Education, Licensing & Experience:

• Degree in Geographic Information Systems, Environmental Science, or related field recommended but not required
• Must be proficient with ESRI: ArcPro, ArcGIS Online, and Field Maps
• Foundation in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• Experience operating mapping grade GPS unit is a plus, will receive training with specific unit

Responsibilities:

• Position will be weather-dependent hybrid Field/Office with fieldwork being the primary expectation focused on NJDEP MS4 Stormwater Inventory
• Projects are centered around Municipal Infrastructure Asset Management, Professional Planning, Environmental, and Civil Engineering
• Conduct detailed analysis and provide end-user support for GIS applications.
• Develop and maintain documentation on data, workflows, and processes.
• Conduct testing of GIS applications to ensure functionality and performance.
