CarePortal is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Creative Videographer and Editor specializing in training content to join our growing team. Reporting to the Training Manager, this role will primarily support training video production but will also stretch into marketing video deliverables, podcast video editing, and vendor relationship management, creating and shaping media that educates, inspires and mobilizes a nationwide audience.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and project management skills to develop visually compelling and informative training videos, engaging storytelling, and more captivating content that drives action in the Church and beyond. The ideal candidate will have experience in screen recording, animation, voice-over editing, and interactive media creation. Your Responsibilities Include:
Video Production & Editing:
Produce and edit high-quality video content for training and internal engagement, including screen recordings, voiceovers, and interactive modules.
Create compelling video content for marketing deliverables, social media, and external campaigns.
Use tools like Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, Audacity, and After Effects to bring stories and training to life.
Curate and manage a digital library of B-roll, audio, and visual assets to support various projects.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Lead ideation in creative ways to incorporate cutting-edge elements into video assets.
Track engagement and performance of training videos across platforms and apply insights to improve quality and reach.
Continuously improve AI-powered language model functionality for real-time Q&A.
Contribute to the visual identity and creative direction of CarePortal video content across formats.
Vendor and Cross-Team Collaboration:
Build and manage relationships with video production vendors to ensure alignment with brand, timelines, and budget.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal teams including training, marketing, product, and field to align on message and visuals.
Recruit, direct, and manage voiceover talent as needed.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers, content creators and designers to ensure content effectiveness and clarity.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and deliver results proactively.
Proficiency in:
Video editing and postproduction (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut or similar)
Audio/narration editing (Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar)
Screen recording tools: (ScreenPal, Clipchamp, Camtasia, or similar)
Animation and motion graphics (PowerPoint animations, After Effects, or similar)
Interactive video platforms (Mindstamp, Storyline, or other e-learning tools).
GIF creation and video optimization for various platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with AI-powered language models for content generation.
Familiarity with adult learning strategies and communication techniques.
Background in vendor management or creative agency collaboration.
