Civil Party Chief/Surveyor

Job Description

We have a customer in Phoenix, AZ who has an IMMEDIATE long term DIRECT HIRE opening for an experienced Civil Surveyor/Party Chief.  If you or any of your colleagues are interested in this position, please click APPLY NOW. 

In this role you will work on the facility grounds for a large industrial manufacturing facility where you will do field layout, construction staking, plant coordinates, column lines, survey control and more. In addition, you will use and work with Civil 3D, AUTOCAD, Trimble Business Center (TBC), laser scanning/FARO, and drone aerial mapping.  You will also extract CAD Drawings for data collection and be directly involved in field staking operations. 

This is a long-term DIRECT HIRE opportunity in Phoenix, AZ working on-site on a variety of large construction projects in the greater Phoenix area. 

Salary range for this position is in the $90,000 to $110,00 range. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

• 5-10 years+ experience in Civil Survey and Party Chief work, BS Civil Degree preferred and CST/LSIT Certifications a plus
• Experience with construction staking and field layouts for industrial and manufacturing building sites
• Experience field layouts, plant coordinates, column lines, traverse adjustments, survey control, etc. 
• Experience with Civil 3D, AUTOCAD, Trimble Business Center, Laser scanning/FARO, GPS, etc. 
• Extraction of CAD drawings for data collection and field staking operations
• Experience with Drones and Aerial mapping a plus
