Position Summary


As a Billboard Installer, you’ll take on a high‑adventure, hands‑on role that takes you across the state on day trips to install, maintain, and upgrade billboards of all sizes and styles. You’ll help ensure some of the most recognizable outdoor advertising remains safe, durable, and visually striking.

This role is perfect for someone who loves working outdoors, thrives on physical activity, enjoys variety, and values safety as much as craftsmanship.


This position is based locally in Green Bay, and installers return home every night.


Duties & Expectations


  • Install, remove, upgrade, and maintain static and digital billboards.
  • Perform structural inspections and repairs, including tightening bolts, painting, adjusting sign faces, repairing trim, and replacing lighting elements.
  • Assemble new structures, catwalks, ladders, faces, anchors, and framing components following engineering and safety standards.
  • Safely operate lifts, bucket trucks, winches, hoists, generators, and power/hand tools.
  • Troubleshoot onsite challenges related to weather, materials, equipment, or structural needs.
  • Maintain Jones’ standards for quality, craftsmanship, and safety on every project.
  • Care for tools, equipment, and company vehicles to ensure daily readiness.
  • Follow OSHA, company, and site‑specific safety protocols including PPE and fall protection.
  • Regularly lift, carry, climb, and maneuver up to 50 lbs. while working at heights up to 100 ft.
  • Work efficiently in rapidly changing weather and job site conditions.
  • Manage time effectively to meet scheduled deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with supervisors.
  • Represent Jones professionally when interacting with customers and property partners.


Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to complete OSHA 10‑Hour Construction course (required)
  • Preferred certifications: CDL, Crane, Signal, Rigging
  • Experience working at heights up to 100 ft. (preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools, equipment, and outdoor work
