Join a global leader in power electronics and thermal management solutions as an Application Engineer supporting industrial automation and energy-focused markets.

This is a highly technical, customer-facing role responsible for supporting power conversion and thermal product lines, driving successful implementation, and serving as the technical bridge between customers, Sales, Product Management, and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Customer Support

  • Serve as the technical expert for assigned power and thermal product lines

  • Provide pre-sales application support, system design guidance, and proof-of-concept validation

  • Deliver on-site troubleshooting and post-sales technical support

  • Lead technical engagement with key accounts and channel partners

Product & Engineering Collaboration

  • Validate new product introductions to ensure performance meets specifications

  • Identify and communicate product improvements, issues, and field feedback to R&D

  • Support product launches, documentation accuracy, and application development

  • Develop technical materials including application notes and sales enablement tools

Cross-Functional Impact

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing to drive product adoption

  • Provide technical training to customers and internal teams

  • Represent the company at tradeshows and customer events

Technical Focus Areas

Power Electronics

  • AC/DC converters

  • DC/DC converters

  • DC/AC inverters

  • Industrial battery chargers

  • AC and DC motor drives

Thermal Systems

  • DC axial and EC fans

  • Liquid cooling solutions

  • Pumps and solenoid devices

Experience supporting applications in industrial automation, e-mobility, energy, material handling, packaging, CNC machinery, or similar markets is highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in Application Engineering, Product Engineering, or Field Applications

  • Strong technical knowledge of power electronics and/or thermal management systems

  • Ability to translate technical specifications into practical customer solutions

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Willingness to travel 20–30% (domestic and occasional international)
