In this role, you'll:
- Design airport and civil infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
- Prepare engineering calculations, construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
- Perform engineering analyses and develop practical design solutions.
- Support FAA and airport improvement projects, including permitting and airspace studies.
- Conduct site visits, observe construction activities, and prepare field reports.
- Assist with CADD drafting, data collection, research, and technical investigations.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, engineering best practices, and applicable regulations.
We're looking for someone with:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 1–5 years of airport planning, airport design, or civil engineering experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with FAA or DOT airport projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS is preferred.
- PE license preferred but not required.
