TIME FRAME: This is a short term, seasonal position.

April 01 - May 08, 2026 (FULL TIME)

In-person interviews will be held on the morning of Saturday, February 21, 2026.


POSITION SUMMARY:

Installation of Festival décor & signage.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Operate 45ft-85ft manlift safely.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including the use of harnesses and hardhats.
  • Assist in determining the personnel required for efficient installation.
  • Monitor the progress of signage and décor projects, ensuring installation procedures and structural integrity are maintained.
  • Collaborate with Aerial Lift Supervisor and Site Supervisors for effective communication.
  • Distribute materials for installations.
  • Coordinate tools necessary for fabrication.
  • Organize and store unused materials and tools.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Utilize the Absentee Request Form for accurate reporting of absenteeism.
  • Maintain confidentiality on sensitive issues.
  • Submit any intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival to the Festival Finance Office as required.
  • Attend and complete all required training sessions.
  • Submit Feedback Forms and Final Reports promptly.
  • Perform any additional work-related duties as assigned.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with preference given to those with festival construction experience.
  • Ability to handle high-stress levels in a production atmosphere.
  • Strong organizational and delegation skills.
  • Proficient in heavy lifting and stamina.
  • Experience with power hand tools.
  • Endurance for long hours in an active, stressful production setting, including the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
