POSITION SUMMARY:
Installation of Festival décor & signage.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Operate 45ft-85ft manlift safely.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including the use of harnesses and hardhats.
- Assist in determining the personnel required for efficient installation.
- Monitor the progress of signage and décor projects, ensuring installation procedures and structural integrity are maintained.
- Collaborate with Aerial Lift Supervisor and Site Supervisors for effective communication.
- Distribute materials for installations.
- Coordinate tools necessary for fabrication.
- Organize and store unused materials and tools.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Utilize the Absentee Request Form for accurate reporting of absenteeism.
- Maintain confidentiality on sensitive issues.
- Submit any intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival to the Festival Finance Office as required.
- Attend and complete all required training sessions.
- Submit Feedback Forms and Final Reports promptly.
- Perform any additional work-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with preference given to those with festival construction experience.
- Ability to handle high-stress levels in a production atmosphere.
- Strong organizational and delegation skills.
- Proficient in heavy lifting and stamina.
- Experience with power hand tools.
- Endurance for long hours in an active, stressful production setting, including the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
