Aerial Fiber Lineman

Aerial Fiber Lineman shall possess the ability to hang ADSS fiber optic line or strand and lash fiber. At a minimum, you must have a good working knowledge of telecommunications construction; familiarity with telecommunications lines, bucket trucks, and poles and the functionality of each; ability to use cable placement equipment and tools; ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.

Responsibilities:

• Completion of aerial fiber optic construction using adss fiber or strand and lash.
• Use of tools, equipment, and ladders to complete a project.
• Additional Duties as assigned.
• Clean and maintain all supplies and equipment 
• Meet production goals
• Maintain quality construction practices

Qualifications:

• One year of related work experience.
• Have the ability to work well with others.
• Proficient in the use of Lineman tools and equipment.
• Ability to read construction prints
• Proficient in the use of telecom construction equipment. (Aerial Lifts, Dozers, Lashers, Meters, Plows, etc.)
• Have the ability to climb poles.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
• the ability to work safely, with or without supervision;
• the ability to work standing, at shoulder height and overhead, for extended periods;
• the ability to lift and manipulate lasher and other cable placement equipment;
• excellent manual dexterity;
• the ability to follow instructions and communicate verbally and in writing;
• the ability to fully understand and operate equipment, including, but not limited to an aerial lift device, lasher, and hand too
