As we expand our North American presence, we are seeking an experienced Account Manager to support and grow key data center accounts.
Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Account Manager to manage and expand strategic customer relationships for data center thermal management solutions across North America. This role blends account ownership, consultative selling, and business development, requiring a technically fluent professional with strong experience in B2B IT infrastructure or data center environments.
The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to customers while identifying growth opportunities and positioning Yinlun TDI as a preferred partner for AI, hyperscale, and enterprise data center operators.
Key Responsibilities
Account Strategy & Market Insight
· Develop and execute account plans aligned with North American data center market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
· Monitor regulatory, technical, and commercial developments impacting customer accounts
Account Development & Revenue Growth
· Manage and grow relationships with AI enterprises, hyperscale data centers, colocation providers, and OEM partners
· Drive revenue growth through expansion opportunities, solution upgrades, and new program development
· Manage the full commercial cycle, including opportunity qualification, pricing, negotiation, and contract execution
Key Account Management
· Act as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic accounts
· Build long-term partnerships by delivering high-quality service, responsiveness, and technical credibility
· Coordinate internal resources to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Technical Collaboration & Solution Selling
· Work closely with engineering and technical teams to deliver customized thermal management solutions
· Support technical discussions related to liquid cooling, air cooling, and hybrid architectures
· Translate customer requirements into viable product and system solutions
Marketing & Brand Support
· Support regional marketing initiatives, trade shows, conferences, and customer events
· Represent Yinlun TDI professionally within the North American data center ecosystem
Reporting & Communication
· Maintain accurate account forecasts, pipeline tracking, and activity reporting
· Communicate account status, risks, and opportunities to leadership
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal/Fluid Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, International Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Equivalent industry experience and strong customer relationships may be considered in lieu of a degree
Professional Experience
• 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within data center thermal management or related IT infrastructure markets, or 5+ years of experience in the electronics or data center industry.
• Proven ability to manage and grow strategic customer accounts in North America
Skills & Competencies
• Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of data center cooling technologies, including liquid and air cooling solutions
• Account Leadership: Ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and manage long-term customer relationships
• Commercial Skills: Strong negotiation, forecasting, and deal-management capabilities
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
Mobility
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for customer engagement and industry events.
Preferred Qualifications
• Existing network within North American AI/ML companies, hyperscale data centers, CSPs, colocation providers, or OEMs
• Prior experience working with or selling to major cloud service providers
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Silicon Valley / San Francisco Bay Area and able to commute to the office as required for a hybrid work arrangement.
