Job Description/Summary:
Western Mass News is searching for a videographer to use their skills to visually showcase our stories. They are responsible for shooting the video, as well as editing videos that may be for anchor reads or reporter stories.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Able to multi-task and cover multiple stories within a regular shift
- Able to work as a team with reporters, and other members of the newsroom
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications/Requirements:
- College degree in Communications or equivalent, or high school diploma and related work experience
- Familiar with digital video cameras
- Familiar with Avid, and other non-linear editing systems a plus
- Familiar with operating LiveU backpacks
- Good driving record
