DescriptionVideographers, Nationwide Contractor Network
Launchpoint is building a network of talented videographers across every major city in the U.S. to partner with on a project-by-project basis through our internal marketing partner, Aura Creations Marketing.
At Launchpoint & Aura, creativity meets precision. We move fast, execute clean, and expect every frame to tell the story. As a Videographer, you’ll bring client visions to life on schedule, on brand, and with professional quality that speaks for itself.
This isn’t just about pressing record. It’s about directing with confidence, lighting with intention, and capturing content that drives results. If you’re ready to deliver polished, production-level footage with speed and consistency, we want you in our network.
Role Overview
As a contracted Videographer, you’ll receive detailed shoot outlines, scripts, gear lists, shot plans, and schedules—and be responsible for executing the shoot from setup to wrap. Projects range from short-form marketing videos to interviews and client spotlights.
Each engagement is organized and efficient: you’ll show up ready to shoot, capture, and upload high-quality footage that’s ready for post-production.
Core Responsibilities
- Review provided shoot outlines (scripts, workflow, gear list, and schedule) in advance.
- Arrive 20 minutes prior to call time for setup.
- Set up and operate full professional 3-point lighting, A and B cameras, and teleprompter.
- Direct clients with confidence and efficiency through multiple takes (typically 7 videos within 4–4.5 hours).
- Maintain production pace to meet strict time caps without sacrificing quality.
- Upload and organize footage to the designated raw drive, clearly labeled by client, date, and video title.
- Ensure footage is shot in S-Log and meets Aura’s professional standards for framing, exposure, and audio.
Equipment & Technical Requirements
- Sony cameras only: a7 IV, a7S III, or FX3 preferred (exceptions may be considered).
- Proficient in manual shooting, S-Log color profiles, and 3-point lighting setups.
- Must have and be experienced with a teleprompter.
- Strong understanding of interview techniques and working with non-actors on camera.
- Reliable setup for professional audio capture.
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced shooters who can walk onto a set and take ownership of production.
- Professionals who thrive on structure and efficiency—no wasted time, no wasted shots.
- A director’s mindset: confident guiding subjects while keeping the schedule tight.
- Organized, disciplined creatives who understand deadlines are non-negotiable.
- Reliable collaborators who take pride in clean footage and smooth handoffs to post-production.
Bottom Line
We’re not building a directory of camera owners. We’re building a roster of elite videographers, and want people who understand lighting, pacing, and professionalism.
If you can execute clean, efficient shoots and deliver footage ready for edit, we want to know you. Submit your portfolio, gear list, and city to join our nationwide network of go-to videographers for upcoming projects.
