Malone Staffing Solutions is hiring a Thermal Processing Technician to support a premier producer of aluminum and steel wheels used by leading automotive brands. Based in Paris, KY, this role blends safety, quality, and precision to keep heat-treat operations running at peak performance.

Core responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and control heat-treat systems to process aluminum and steel parts to production specs and quality standards
• Execute hardness checks with calibrated equipment; log and verify results
• Inspect work-in-process and finished parts; report defects or nonconformances to supervision
• Stage, handle, and offload parts to support uninterrupted material flow
• Use material handling equipment (including Gorbel cranes) safely and efficiently
• Apply air buffers and hand tools for part prep/finish as needed
• Follow safety policies, work instructions, and quality procedures
• Maintain housekeeping standards; assist with basic checks and preventative maintenance

Schedule options

• Second shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
• Third shift: Monday–Friday, 11:30 PM–8:00 AM (+$1.00 shift differential)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Basic competency in reading, writing, and math
• Strong hand–eye–foot coordination and fine motor skills
• Ability to accurately distinguish colors
• Physically able to perform the essential functions
• Consistent attendance and schedule reliability
