Reporting to the Vice President for Communications, the Temporary Photographer/Videographer is a member of a collaborative, dynamic, and strategic Multimedia who supports the vision and goals of the Office of Communications.
The Temporary Photographer/Videographer is responsible for the conceptualization, planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality, on-brand video and photo assets.
The position will also maintain a strong working relationship and day-to-day collaboration with the Strategic Communications team, with the possibility of direct photo assignments originating from this team’s work and needs.
Eighty percent of the role support Wesleyan’s visual storytelling through still photography assignments for Wesleyan University Magazine, The Connection, strategic communications projects, social media campaigns, and special assignments.
Approximately 80% of duties include the creation of high-quality videos and 20% of the duties include still photography.
