In This Role
You will play a critical role in developing and optimizing operational processes that support buy/sell operations within a global technology company’s silicon supply chain. This role blends process engineering, operations management, and cross-functional collaboration. You will be responsible for mapping current-state workflows, defining future-state processes, and implementing new tools, reports, and documentation to support efficient material flow. The position requires partnering with subject matter experts, engineering, and operations teams to drive improvements, ensure change management, and deliver sustainable outcomes.
Conduct current-state and future-state process mapping to identify gaps and define improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, project management, and engineering teams to gather requirements and align cross-functional stakeholders.
Develop process documentation, reporting tools, and supporting manuals to guide operations execution.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and represent the buy/sell operations function during process/tool validation.
Support day-to-day business operations post-UAT, including SAP transactions (e.g., purchase order creation).
Create and maintain a Transaction Manual, including escalation paths, workflow examples, and automation documentation.
Drive workflow automation initiatives and recommend efficiency improvements.
Document lessons learned and track progress on operational enhancements.
Handover deliverables, records, and best practice documentation to internal stakeholders at project close.
Experience: 5–7 years in supply chain operations, process improvement, or industrial operations.
Process Mapping/Development: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in current/future state mapping, process re-engineering, or continuous improvement.
Technical Skills:
Advanced Excel (3–5 years) for reporting, modeling, and tool development.
SAP (3–5 years) within a supply chain or operations context, including transactional support.
Strong documentation skills, including SOPs, transaction manuals, and process flows.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, and drive alignment.
Ability to synthesize complex operational requirements into actionable improvements.
Background in industrial engineering, operations management, or related disciplines.
Experience working in high-tech, semiconductor, or complex supply chain environments.
Prior involvement in tool/report automation and workflow optimization.
Familiarity with change management frameworks and stakeholder alignment practices.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into operational insights.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $100,000 - $110,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
