Street Photographer & Videographer, Freelance based in New York City

Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Freelance Street Photographer & Videographer. We’re looking for a talented street-style photographer and videographer to capture candid, high-quality content at various events across New York City. This is an on-demand freelance role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a strong eye for visual storytelling.  The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to come in and be a builder in a startup tech environment. 

This is a freelance opportunity with competitive pay. Must be available for an assignment on Friday, April 24, 2026

Responsibilities: 

• Capture candid, street-style photos and short-form video at live events
• Deliver high-quality, edited assets within agreed timelines
• Adapt to diverse event environments such as corporate, social impact, and community
• Collaborate with our team on shot lists and creative direction when needed

• Proven experience in street photography and/or event videography
• Strong portfolio showcasing candid, in-the-moment content
• Own equipment: camera, lenses, stabilization, etc.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends
• NYC-based and able to travel within the city
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment 
• Passion for our mission and the desire to make an impact in the world through technology
