Solar Streetlight Technician/CDL Operator - Radiance Program

Role Summary:

Dalkia Energy Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Streetlight Technician/CDL Operator to join our Radiance team in San Antonio, Texas.  As a Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar-powered streetlights in various locations throughout the city.

Job Responsibilities:
- Install and commission solar-powered streetlights in accordance with the company's safety and quality standards
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and perform minor repairs on existing streetlights
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with solar panels, batteries, wiring, and other components of the streetlights
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including service reports and inventory levels
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, providing updates on job progress and any potential issues
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations

- Operate CDL-class vehicles (e.g., bucket trucks, flatbeds) to transport materials and equipment to job sites.

- Load, secure, and unload poles, solar equipment, and materials in compliance with DOT regulations.

- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.

Skills & Education Preferred:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Experience with hand and power tools required for installation and maintenance work
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (CDL A is a MUST)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as needed
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if needed
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
