Pathway Solar is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Community Solar Sales Representatives. As a Community Solar Sales Representative, you will help residents access community solar programs in the Chicago area, while gaining valuable training and experience with direct sales and the solar industry.

• W2 position with guaranteed base wages + uncapped commissions

What You�ll Do:

• Knock doors and talk with homeowners

• Generate qualified leads and enroll homeowners in a community solar subscription program

• Be the friendly face of the clean energy movement

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be comfortable canvassing residential neighborhoods to speak with residents and conduct one-on-one consultations about the benefits of community solar subscription programs.

• Must be able to stand and walk for the whole day as you make cold contact with potential clients.

• Must be willing and able to cater to the availability of the customer-base and work 1-7pm M-F

• Must be willing and able to pass applicable sales and marketing training, including memorizing a script.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with high expectations.

Position Requirements:

• Must have an active driver's license and have access to a reliable personal vehicle.

• Must be able to work a full-time schedule (at least 30 hours per week). Must be able to work an evening schedule.

• Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized for employment in the United States.

Position Title: Community Solar Sales Representative

Reporting Structure: Community Solar Branch Manager

Rate of Pay: $17/hr +Uncapped Commission

Commission: $75 per sale

Job Classification: W2, non-exempt
Schedule/hours: 1pm-7pm / M-F

Location: Zion, IL

Attendance: 100% attendance record is required for all roles within PS

Benefits: Pathway Solar offers all full-time employees who remain with our team for more than three months full health care, dental, and vision benefits. Any job-related travel, lodging, and other expenses are paid for by PS.

*Pathway Solar operates in full compliance with Illinois state labor laws and regulations. All commission-based compensation paid to employees by Pathway are considered wages under the Illinois Wage Payment Law (WPL).
