As the PSQ Thermals Team, we are entrusted with the responsibility of validating the architecture and effectiveness of the Thermal Control System in managing the heat generated by the deviceβs components on Apple Products. Our primary objective is to ensure the reliable operation of the system and, consequently, enhance the customer experience for Apple products. We meticulously validate thermal control loops and embedded decision trees, based on the Thermal design specifications for each product.
We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer with analytical and problem-solving abilities to collaborate with Apple teams to improve product quality, contribute to automated test development and data analysis to correlate customer experience with objective data.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Design Engineering or related Engineering field.
1+ years of experience developing and understanding test automation frameworks and libraries with Object Oriented Programming languages (e.g. Python, C++, Objective C).
Have designed and developed an automation framework, data pipeline and analysis tools
In-depth coding knowledge on data structures, and algorithms
Experience with software engineering best practices (version control with Git, modular code design, testing, documentation)
Knowledge of control theory and basic embedded systems
Must be highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for innovation, integrity and attention to details.
Experience in data analytical & visualization tools such as Tableau
Strong QA fundamentals, innovative test strategy, statistical analysis, automation framework development, and data analysis.
Experience in developing test plan, assessing risk, filing appropriate defects, and providing relevant data for test reporting.
Ability to develop in-depth understanding of technical issues quickly to triage and drive HW/SW/System integration issue resolution across multi-functional teams.
