LOCATION: 300 Corporate Drive, Room 206, Jeffersonville IN 47130, In-Person

WORK SCHEDULE: 8:30a-4:30p, One Hour Lunch, Two Days during Regular Workweek M-F

STATUS: Part-Time

DUTIES:

· Deputy Surveyor will assist County Surveyor in all duties of the County Surveyor.

· Deputy Surveyor to provide assistance to County Engineer, County Planning and Zoning, and County Commissioners when requested.

· Deputy Surveyor to assist Registered Surveyors doing surveys in Clark County in their records research.

· Deputy Surveyor to assist in maintaining all existing files of prior boundary surveys now on file in County Surveyor office.

· Deputy Surveyor to assist County Surveyor in filling out Business Verification forms for Alcohol Permits.

· Responds to landowner inquiries and complaints, including providing assistance, researching records, analyzing situations, recommending solutions, and communicating with County Surveyor.

· Enters and retrieves data on computers.

· Periodically attends training sessions as required.

· Performs related duties as assigned.
