A typical day for a Resident Services Specialist - Solar Savings blends community engagement, program coordination, and data management. The day may begin by reviewing enrollment progress, responding to resident inquiries, and updating program data or reports. Much of the role is spent connecting directly with residents—hosting outreach events, visiting CHP properties, or canvassing to educate households about the Solar Savings program and help them sign up for shared solar utility savings.

Throughout the day, the specialist collaborates with on-site staff, the Resident Services team, and partners such as Dimension Energy to coordinate activities, track participation, and communicate program updates. Time is also dedicated to scheduling future outreach efforts, monitoring enrollment goals, and ensuring program documentation and budget requirements stay on track. Because the position is hybrid and travel-focused, many days include time on the road visiting properties and building relationships with residents to expand access to clean energy savings.

What We're Looking For:

The Resident Services Specialist - Solar Savings works closely with residents to build relationships and increase participation in the program by educating households about the benefits of shared solar and facilitating enrollments. This work includes coordinating outreach activities at CHP properties, managing program data and budgets, scheduling on-site engagement, and communicating program updates with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires a collaborative and service-oriented approach, working closely with Resident Services colleagues, CHP staff, supervisors, and leadership to ensure program success while supporting the broader mission of CHP and the Resident Services department.
