Job Summary:
IGS Solar is an industry-leading residential solar developer that owns and manages a rapidly growing portfolio of over 50,000 rooftop systems nationwide valued at over $2B. Solar equipment procurement and distribution is a critical piece to its long-term growth strategy. The Inventory Manager will be a driving force behind building billions of dollars-worth of new rooftop solar systems through a network of suppliers, warehouses, distributors, and installers nationwide. This role involves coordination across multiple stakeholders including equipment suppliers, financial institutions, warehouse & logistics providers, external solar installation partners, and internal Executive, Operations, Finance, and Business Development teams. It requires developing a comprehensive knowledge of the Residential Solar industry and applying best practices in inventory management, procurement, logistics, operations, and technology.
Primary Responsibilities:
Become an expert in Residential Solar and the unique factors driving IGS Solar’s supply chain strategy.
Deploy inventory to fulfill our network of installers’ equipment needs across 14+ states.
Develop systems & processes to optimize how IGS tracks millions in inventory.
Manage relationships & coordinate shipments to key distributors & installers.
Lead inventory reporting and support contract compliance.
Collaborate across internal & external teams: IT, Resi Solar Operations, Legal, Regulatory, Manufacturers, Investors, Finance, Insurance, Business Development.
Perform ad-hoc business analysis and present actionable recommendations to IGS Solar leadership team.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or other applicable field.
5+ years of experience in business operations, supply chain, procurement, logistics, or technology.
Experience in Renewable Energy a plus.

Salary Range:
$72,420.00 - $115,870.00*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
