Position Summary
Under the direction of the Communications and Marketing Manager, the Promotional Materials Coordinator assists with the Library’s day-to-day marketing and promotional inventory and logistics needs across its five libraries and the Archives, Acquisitions, and Logistics Facility (AALF).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties as assigned:
- Coordinate the flow of marketing and promotional materials through the Library’s entire supply chain.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory levels for all marketing and promotional materials, and maintain physical storage spaces in AADL facilities for these materials.
- Order, ship, track, and oversee inventory levels for general marketing and promotional materials, including but not limited to: event brochures, bookmarks, pamphlets, posters, promotional stickers, pinback buttons, and office supplies.
- Assist in the physical execution of AADL promotional efforts, including but not limited to: putting up promotional posters, coordinating promotional display screens, display stands, public materials areas, and assorted signage.
- Assist with the coordination of print and promotional materials for AADL’s Summer Game, including but not limited to coordinating print supplies, stickers, lawn signs, and Summer Game prize inventory.
- Assist in the coordination of AADL’s fan group, Byte Club, including but not limited to, mailing materials, handling t-shirts, and ordering and tracking inventory on promotional materials.
- Assist in the production and packaging of materials to be used by Library staff for off-site tabling and marketing appearances.
- Assist with the coordination of AADL’s various promotional projects, like its sticker vending machine and the AADL mascot.
- Communicate with AADL staff, patrons, and Summer Game players via email and phone related to marketing and promotional materials, and Summer Game prize-related issues.
- The position is expected to work occasional evenings and weekends.
