Photographer Intern

Job Summary:

The Photographer Intern at ROR Nation will play a key role in supporting the photography team in capturing high-quality images that showcase the excitement and energy of ROR Nation's events. This position will involve assisting with event photography, photo editing, and content organization. The intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of event photography while working closely with experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the photography team in capturing dynamic and compelling images during ROR Nation's events, including concerts, festivals, and promotional activities.
2. Learn and apply composition techniques, lighting principles, and camera settings to capture impactful photographs that highlight the energy and atmosphere of the events.
3. Collaborate with the photography team to ensure coverage of all key moments and diverse perspectives, considering different angles and vantage points.
4. Assist in organizing and maintaining the digital asset management system, including file organization, metadata tagging, and backup procedures.
5. Support the photo editing process by selecting and retouching images to ensure they meet ROR Nation's quality standards and brand guidelines.
6. Help with post-production tasks, such as color correction, cropping, and resizing, to optimize images for various platforms and promotional materials.
7. Contribute to brainstorming sessions for creative photo concepts and innovative ideas to enhance ROR Nation's visual presence.
8. Stay updated with the latest photography trends, techniques, and equipment to bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the photography team.

Qualifications:

1. Passion for photography and a strong interest in event photography and capturing live performances.
2. Proficiency in operating DSLR cameras and knowledge of photography principles, including composition, lighting, and exposure.
3. Basic understanding of photo editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom, to perform basic post-processing tasks.
4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate and capture important moments during fast-paced events.
5. Excellent organizational skills to manage and maintain an organized photo library.
6. Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the photography team and event organizers.
7. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and adapt to changing event requirements and conditions.
8. Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn and grow as part of the photography team.
