Position Description: 

EnProVera is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Photographer to support internal and official photographic needs across a wide range of events and functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise in photography, the ability to work in a fast-paced and mission-driven environment, and the interpersonal skills necessary to interact with diverse personnel. 

Basic Job Responsibilities: 

  • Photograph individuals, FBI Academy classes, in-service groups, special ceremonies, and any other occasions as required.
  • Photograph new employees for FBI credentials.
  • Present subjects in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
  • Render clean and realistic pictures of subjects and items.
  • Possess a familiarity with the knowledge and background surrounding the objectives of the photography project to ensure adequate processing of the photograph.
  • Distribute photographs in accordance with the photography project’s objectives.
  • Coordinate with and respond to customer requests for photographic support.

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Associate's degree (AA) in photography OR three (3) years of experience as a photographer with a commercial company
  • Possess a high standard of quality control, workmanship, and attention to detail.
  • Possess effective communication skills.
  • Digital editing proficiency, with experience utilizing Photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge.
  • Familiarity with professional grade Nikon, Sony and Norman camera equipment and printers.
  • Skilled in the elements of lighting and composition required to adequately present the subjects photographed, depending on the objectives of the photography projects.
  • Familiarity with the software, professional grade Nikon, Sony and Norman camera equipment and printers to understand and apply the principles of lighting, color, exposure, and the uses of various files, filters, lenses, and papers.
  • Must be reliable and be able to make independent and on-the-spot decisions.
  • Must be able to work independently with little or no guidance.
  • Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills.

Desired Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Photography.
  • Five (5) years of experience in professional photography with a commercial company or as a private business.
  • Strong experience in studio portrait photography.

Required Security:. 

  • US Citizenship
  • Active Top Secret Clearance

FLSA Class: Non-Exempt
