Photographer and Camera Assistant
The American Society of Radiologic Technologists is seeking a photographer and camera assistant focusing on professional photography and camera support that promotes the medical imaging and radiation therapy profession. This role will work closely with the graphic design team to collaborate on creative campaigns featured on video platforms, social media sites, websites and external streaming, and linear media partners.
Responsibilities:
- Capture still photography of live events and individual and group portraits.
- Edit and format images to align with ASRT brand standards and distribution needs.
- Organize and maintain digital photo assets and photography equipment inventory.
- Support video shoots by preparing gear, setting up camera rigs, and assisting with on-set camera operations.
Successful Candidates Meet the Following Criteria:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree specializing in photography, visual communication, digital media, film production or photojournalism.
- Minimum of three to five years of experience.
- Solid project management skills — planning, prioritizing, event documentation, implementation and follow-through.
- Knowledge of photography principles including lighting, composition and exposure.
- Work independently or with a team and remain composed under pressure in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
