About the Role
The Photographer is responsible for executing high-quality product and lifestyle photography that brings the Fleet Farm brand to life across ecommerce, social, print, and in-store marketing. This role ensures visual consistency, technical excellence, and brand alignment in all imagery while co-owning studio operations, production workflows, and digital asset standards. By partnering closely with Creative, and Ecommerce teams, the Photographer supports compelling storytelling and accurate product representation that drive customer engagement and sales.
What You’ll Do
- Execute high-resolution product and lifestyle photography across marketing, ecommerce, social, print and in-store channels.
- Ensure imagery reflects standards for tone, lighting, composition and color accuracy.
- Interpret creative briefs in partnership with Marketing teams to deliver on objectives.
- Design and build sets/backgrounds as needed and within budget
- Manage shoot schedules, production timelines and workflow prioritization.
- Coordinate and request product samples and props for still photography, broadcast production and social media content.
- Provide complete asset packages to graphic designers as needed including Images, SKU, VPN, logos and supporting product information.
- Execute retouching and post-production work to ensure final image quality and brand consistency, while providing guidance and coaching to team members as needed.
- Acquire, review and validate digital product images, product samples and related assets from suppliers while maintaining digital asset management standards including file naming, metadata tagging, formatting, archiving and organized library structure.
- Partner with Inventory Control and Warehouse teams to properly track, return or dispose of product samples as needed.
- Own and maintain all studio equipment, lighting and supplies, recommending upgrades aligned with budgets.
- Assist with permits, insurance and logistics for on-location shoots as needed.
- Stay current on photography trends, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Collaborate effectively across departments, communicating clearly and maintaining a flexible, team-oriented approach.
- Capture internal events and company initiatives as requested.
- Complete other broadcast, video and photography related tasks as they arise.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Art, Marketing or a related field or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 3+ years of commercial photography production experience
- Must be able to provide a portfolio showcasing past photography projects
- Experience shooting product, landscape, event and lifestyle photography
- Advanced photography skills with excellent knowledge of studio and natural lighting, retouching and color correcting images
- Expert knowledge of Canon EOS cameras, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, MS Office and Mac OS
- Excellent styling, compositional, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Prior related experience in a retail environment preferred
